Sustainability
We have worked hard to try and be as sustainable as possible at every stage of the manufacturing process while still maintaining affordability.
Our shirts are made from 100% Tencel. Tencel is made from sustainably sourced, fast-growing trees. These don’t require pesticide and have low water consumption. Nontoxic chemicals are recovered and reused in a closed loop system. The fabric is durable, incredibly soft and 100% biodegradable and recyclable.
Our fabric is digitally printed so we only need to print the amount of fabric we plan to use. The inks used are water based OEKO-Tex Standard 100 certification. These require a very low amount of water and don’t contain environmentally damaging chemicals.
Our Corozo buttons are made from Tunga nuts. These are completely natural and biodegradable.
Plastic in our supply chain is limited to our clothing label. These are made from recycled fibres. There is also a nylon cord on our hang tags. We hope to upgrade this to a natural alternative soon.
Our hangtags are printed on recycled paper, please recycle tags after removing them.
Our packaging is minimal and biodegradable, just put it in your home compost bin or general waste. Even our stickers are 100% compostable so no need to remove them.
Our supply chain is small and transparent. We print our fabric in a factory in Turkey and another factory in Turkey constructs the shirts. They are then packaged into fully compostable bags and cardboard boxes and driven to our UK based fulfilment centre where they are posted directly to you.
